Integrated Tasik Selatan Bus station is a waste of pulic money

On Monday before Deepavali, I drove to the Integrated Tasik Selatan Bus station with a friend who wanted to buy bus ticket to JB.  I drove across the flyover and the bridge to the Station, and drove up the wide ramp to L6's carpark. Worried if I could find parking because of the holiday season for travellers. WOW.. what an impressive car park, and lots of empty bays; tall ceiling, wide span like an aircraft hangar. Must be the most expensive ever carpark ever built in Malaysia!.

We then went to the main hall where few counters  were opened to sell bus tickets. I looked around the hall which seems  like a KLIA hall; there is a hanging large board to advise buses's arrival/departure/destination etc,  pair of polis bantuan at the 2  departures  to check  tickets of passengers getting down the escalator to board buses at the bus platforms (but wonder why necessary because when the buses arrive at Duta Complex, passenegers are free to get up/down the buses and walk about!). The hall was not crowded, less than 100 ppl that includes ppl quequing to buy tickst at the few sale counters, ppl sitting on chairs or walking around.

From afar, this complex of Integrated Bus station is huge. Now having been inside and  seen the humongous carpark and the KLIZ-like hall,  it is obvious that this mega bus station project is a plain waste of public money.   Even with the adjoining  LRT/Sri Petaling line to feed-in the passengers,  there are just too few of them, as desmonstrated in the  lack of patrons using  this station during  this peak holiday season (year end school holiday & Deepavali)  for travellers.

Another wasteful project that sucked away my hard earned taxed money!

There went my hard earned tax money
