AES and traffic light nearly caused me accident at junction Tmn United-JlnKlang Lama (KL)

At 6.30pm 9/5/2014, I was driving in the rain along Jalan Klang Lama (KL) towards the traffic light junction of Tmn United.  The rain had slowed down traffic and I was  approaching  this junction with light still GREEN at about 50km/hr.  I was the first of the long queue of cars behind  me and I always look into back mirror as I approach any  junction;  at this moment no car or huge vehicle was close behind me. There is an AES at this junction  this traffic light and  for so many past days and months always   5-GREEN  flashes before turning YELLOW. Damn!  today, the GREEN light  turned YELLOW without the 5 green flashes, and I know I could not make it across this junction without caught by AES.

I slammed on brakes and the car skidded slightly across the 'stop' line. I noted cars behind me also braked hard! Lucky no accident.  If there are big buses /big vehicles /speeding cars, no choice but to shoot across the junction even if snapped by AES. But what happened  if I did not shoot across and got rammed by following vehicles/buses? Now what happened if there is an accident and  in this case I have the video recorder. Who should I sue for damages or even loss of life?  Is AES so desperate for income that it changed the traffic lighting system at this junction? The 5-flahes of GREEN  have always been very good to reduce accidents, regardless with AES or no AES.

Avoid these 2 optical shops in Mendung Park, Jalan KlangLama, Kuala Lumpur

These 2 optical shops (LIVERN EYE CARE and CAMY) are  owned by same owners  who are  'crooks' in selling spectacles.
I hv had bad experience with their skills and services.. Ended with a pair spectacle RM500 that cannot be used

AVOID this optical shop LIVERN EYE CARE (Mendung Park- directly opp Maybank), Jln Klang Lama

DO NOT MAKE SPECTACLE AT THIS LIVERN EYE CARE,. The boss hass another shop along same row.

I made a new pair of spectacle at this shop recently, and everything was ok. So  when my  daughter (Ms X) wanted a new pair, I took her to this LIVERN  EYE CARE before CNY 2014. Ms X wanted same power and the lady boss of this shop used her equipment to extract  'power detail' from  the lenses. Lady boss  of LIVERN did not advise to check power in view of the young age.

MS X went alone to collect the spect and paid full amount RM480. Upon reaching home she complained not comfortable and I scolded  her then why she did not test the spec well yet paid the full amount. She called up LIVERN and the man boss advised Ms X to wear it on let the eyes get used to it!  Without even suggesting to come to shop to check.

I took Ms X to LIVERN. Man boss not in while the lady boss took the spec and put under equipment, and said 'aha, misalignment'. She said to come back after CNY which we did and Ms X said better now.

She flew back to Melbourne and later called back to complain still not ok. She went to local Melbourne optician who checked the LIVERN's spect and gv her an eye test. The reading of the eye testing were very similar to that used in LIVERN . Optician said the LIVERN's lens is still out of focus.  MS X paid  to make one new pair at this Melbourne local shop and she said fitted her very well. no headache

Ms X mailed me the LIVERNspect with the eye test results which  I took to LIVERN. Lady boss insisted that her eye tests results differ from the power used by her shop to prepare the lens. She told me that Ms X did not want eye test and lady boss said young ppl eye's powers shifted very fast. I told here then why you did not insist to gv eye test in the 1st place. I told here eye-testing results are similar to power used by yr shop, it is the 'focus' that is out.

Lady boss said I hv to pay extra RM100/- . I 'watsapp' Ms S who said better don't to any more with LIVERN  (a cheating shop) then, and asked for refund. I met the man boss who declined to refund.

Pictures of the very dirty water in OUG, Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur

60 days ago (28/9/2013) , complained to  SYABAS New Town PJ on the dirty water.
Their crew came, but did not flush the water hydrant, saying water pressure was still low (that was the time of a motor mechanic shop 's diesle whihc polluted the water suppkly to millions of ppl) .
Today (60 days later), I removed the cartridge. One thick layer of sediment, slimy, like a plastic over the original white cartridge

Monday, September 23, 2013

In early Sept 2013, I moved into a rented house and immediately installed a simple water filter near to water tap. The 'white' cartridge  became brownish after 20 minutes of water run, and by 5th day, the cartridge became totally  'black'. Landlord and I went to PJ  SYABAS Office ( near to Assuatn Hospital) and showed the pictures of dirty cartridge.

Within 3 hours, Environmental division ppl of SYABAS came to the house, took sample of water at the meter outlet (before water entering the water filter) and  measured chlorinity, turbity and PH. The SYABAS guy said based on their guidelines (which he showed me), the measured values  demonstrated  that water coming into my house from the SYABAS pipe  is 'fit for drinking', even without my water filter!!

Here is picture of the measured results and brown-color of the filter cartridge (vs the original white colour) after 20 min water run.
SYABAS must be joking, right?  water fit for drinking?  Malaysia Boleh

Integrated Tasik Selatan Bus station is a waste of pulic money

On Monday before Deepavali, I drove to the Integrated Tasik Selatan Bus station with a friend who wanted to buy bus ticket to JB.  I drove across the flyover and the bridge to the Station, and drove up the wide ramp to L6's carpark. Worried if I could find parking because of the holiday season for travellers. WOW.. what an impressive car park, and lots of empty bays; tall ceiling, wide span like an aircraft hangar. Must be the most expensive ever carpark ever built in Malaysia!.

We then went to the main hall where few counters  were opened to sell bus tickets. I looked around the hall which seems  like a KLIA hall; there is a hanging large board to advise buses's arrival/departure/destination etc,  pair of polis bantuan at the 2  departures  to check  tickets of passengers getting down the escalator to board buses at the bus platforms (but wonder why necessary because when the buses arrive at Duta Complex, passenegers are free to get up/down the buses and walk about!). The hall was not crowded, less than 100 ppl that includes ppl quequing to buy tickst at the few sale counters, ppl sitting on chairs or walking around.

From afar, this complex of Integrated Bus station is huge. Now having been inside and  seen the humongous carpark and the KLIZ-like hall,  it is obvious that this mega bus station project is a plain waste of public money.   Even with the adjoining  LRT/Sri Petaling line to feed-in the passengers,  there are just too few of them, as desmonstrated in the  lack of patrons using  this station during  this peak holiday season (year end school holiday & Deepavali)  for travellers.

Another wasteful project that sucked away my hard earned taxed money!

There went my hard earned tax money
